Advertise on Roads to the Future

Companies in the highway and transportation industry --

Are you interested in advertising on Roads to the Future?

This website averages about 3,000 individual page hits per day.

I am entertaining the idea of having 10 to 20 corporate ads in the upper part of the main page.
- corporate logo, name and explanatory slogan or phrase if you want (you supply artwork)
- width 248 pixels, standard height 50 pixels
- the ad can be linked to your website home page or to special advertising copy on your website which you are responsible for and may control and change

Roads to the Future has been non-revenue since its inception in 1997, and has been regularly updated and expanded monthly, but due to recent new commitments I have much less time available for working on website updates. I need more incentive to spend more time on website additions, and advertising revenue would provide that, as well as provide direct and indirect economic benefits to transportation industry companies who advertise.

Roads to the Future has provided detailed real-time tracking articles on a variety of prominent highway construction projects, with regular updates with lots of photos and textual descriptions of the progress of the construction, such as with the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project, the Springfield Interchange Improvement Project, the Pinners Point Interchange, the Route 895 Pocahontas Parkway, Western Route VA 288, I-295/I-64 Flyover Project, VA-168 Chesapeake Expressway, I-95 James River Bridge Restoration, I-64 Widening in Hampton and Newport News, US-58 Widening and Bypasses in Mecklenburg County, US-17 Relocation in Chesapeake, and US-29 Lynchburg / Madison Heights Bypass. All but one of these projects are complete.

I would like to provide similarly detailed coverage of these ongoing mega projects -- I-495 HOT Lanes Project, MD-200 InterCounty Connector, MD I-95 Express Toll Lanes, and WMATA Metrorail Silver Line. That will require a considerable amount of ongoing website development over the next 4 years or so, and I need the incentive to do it!
