Baltimore 10-D Interstate System Map

 

This map was copied from a Maryland State Highway Administration planning document, and it is the Baltimore 10-D Interstate System that was approved in 1962. This is the refined concept for the East-West Expressway through the Inner Harbor, and the Southwest Expressway. The Carroll-Hamburg-Boston corridor is I-95, and the Mulberry-Fremont corridor is I-70N. The Mulberry-Fremont-Hamburg-Boston corridor is the East-West Expressway. The Carroll corridor is the Southwest Expressway. I-83 (Jones Falls Expressway) junctions I-95 at the Inner Harbor. Click on map for larger image.
