Route 895 Construction - June 2002 - Photos 24-26

Here are 3 photos of Route 895, taken on June 22, 2002.

Above, I'm standing on the Charles City Road overpass over I-295, looking north onto I-295. The newly constructed and opened acceleration lane from Ramp B to I-295 can be seen to the right. Ramp B is the ramp from Route 895 eastbound to I-295 northbound.

Above, I'm standing on the Charles City Road overpass over I-295, looking across I-295 onto Ramp B. Ramp B is the ramp from Route 895 eastbound to I-295 northbound. The ramp can be comfortably driven at 50 mph, and the curviness is exaggerated because I used a 135 mm lens (2.7x) for this photo.

Above, I'm standing on the Charles City Road overpass over I-295, looking south onto I-295. The newly constructed and opened Ramp C to Route 895 can be seen to the right. Ramp C is the ramp from southbound I-295 to eastbound Route 895. The ramp can be comfortably driven at 50 mph. When I say "comfortably driven", I mean in my conservatively driven fullsize Buick!
