Visible in the distance, is the north end of the completed VA-288 section from VA-76 to north of Lucks Lane. The completed portion visible here is north of Lucks Lane and is not yet open to traffic. This is in Chesterfield County.

The interchange and overpass for Woolridge Road is under construction in the distance.

Looking north, heavy excavation for the construction of the VA-288 roadways. The VA-650 River Road bridge can be seen. This is in Goochland County, about 1/2 mile north of the James River.

The slope to the right of the bridge, failed during recent heavy sustained rains, due to the fact that insufficient new grass was in place. The slope is being rebuilt.
