Above, looking from pedestrian overpass, looking east. The two-platform three-track design of the station is clearly visible from this vantage point. The I-66 eastbound roadway is visible, and if you look carefully at the top of the photo, you can see a three-span overpass in the distance, which crosses each I-66 roadway plus the Metro route in the middle.


Above, looking east from the end of the platform. If you look carefully at the left center of the photo, you can see a pier foundation between the tracks; that is for the rail flyover bridge that will be built in the future for the extension of Metrorail to Dulles Airport. The Dulles line will branch off of the Vienna Route just east of the West Falls Church Station.
