Here are photos of Route VA-288 under construction, taken in late January, 2002.
The first four photos are of the construction of the VA-288 James River Bridge and approaches, seen from the Goochland County (northern side) of the river and the Powhatan County (southern side) of the river. One photo shows heavy excavation near River Road in Goochland County.
The second four photos are of the dualization of the existing 2-lane VA-288 in Goochland County.
